1. Introduction

Welcome to The Biblical Bridge!

The Biblical Bridge is a Christian family devotional application designed to help parents and guardians teach biblical principles, explore Scripture, and connect Bible stories to everyday family experiences.

We value your family's privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to parents and guardians.

  • Only parents, legal guardians, or other authorized adults age 18 or older may create accounts.
  • Children do not create individual accounts.

Information Parents Enter

Parents may submit questions, family situations, or devotional requests. These submissions may be processed to provide relevant Bible stories and personalized devotional content.

Parents should avoid entering unnecessary identifying or sensitive information about their children or other family members.

4. Children's Privacy

Protecting children is especially important to The Biblical Bridge.

Our application is designed for parent-managed accounts and parent-led devotional experiences.

We do not require parents to provide children's full names, exact birth dates, addresses, photographs, or contact information to select age-appropriate devotional content.

Parents can select general age ranges instead.

We do not intend to collect personal information directly from children. If we learn that personal information has been collected directly from a child in a manner that requires parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to comply with applicable law, including deleting information where required.

Parents may contact us regarding privacy concerns involving their children.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and maintain parent accounts.
  • Provide personalized Bible devotionals.
  • Adjust content to selected age ranges.
  • Support Family Reading Mode.
  • Save devotional preferences when that feature is enabled.
  • Improve app functionality and security.
  • Respond to questions and support requests.
  • Fulfill applicable legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for purposes unrelated to the application without an appropriate legal basis or permission.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Devotional Content

The Biblical Bridge may use artificial intelligence technology to generate or personalize Bible stories, discussion questions, prayers, and devotional activities.

Information entered by parents may be processed by AI service providers to generate requested content.

We encourage parents not to include children's full names, addresses, medical information, or other sensitive personal details in devotional requests.

Our goal is to provide meaningful, Scripture-centered resources while respecting family privacy.

7. Sharing Information With Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party service providers to operate the application, including hosting, account authentication, database management, AI processing, and payment processing where applicable.

These providers may process information as needed to deliver their services, subject to applicable agreements and privacy safeguards.

Providers: GoDaddy and Lovable

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Family Memberships are sold through our online reseller, Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle receives the information needed to process your purchase, manage your subscription, handle taxes, and issue invoices. We do not store your credit card information.

Paddle's privacy practices govern the payment information it processes.

We keep our own simple, first-party visit counts (such as which website or campaign link brought a visitor) to understand how families find us. These counts never include children's names or devotional content, and are not shared with advertising services.

9. Data Security and Retention

We seek to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the application, fulfill legitimate purposes, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

10. Your Privacy Choices

Parents and guardians may contact us to request:

  • Access to personal information associated with their account.
  • Correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion of their account and associated information, subject to applicable exceptions.
  • Information about how their personal data is processed.

We will respond in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The application and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for account authentication, security, and essential functionality.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the application, technology, or applicable legal requirements.

Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
